L. Joan Allen, The Lady Baltimore, has been sighted in her silver sequin gown and goddess tiara on CNBC-TV, in TIME Magazine, and in 200 newspapers around the country. She also presents cooking classes and demonstrations for Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, and charity events around the country.

L. Joan Allen is the author of Celebrating
Single and Getting Love Right: From Stalemate
to Soulmate (Capital Books: 2002). She is also a
lecturer, professional matchmaker, and relationship
coach. In her spare time, she teaches screenwriting
at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she
resides. Currently Ms. Allen is working on a television cooking series called GourmetOnTheGo.

Once called Silver Goddess Brownies & Sweets, Ms. Allen's business has been featured in a number of publications, including TIME Magazine* in 2004, and The Gourmet Retailer** and The Rosengarten Report*** in 2005.
